Brad SluggettDr Brad Sluggett – B.App.Sc(CompMed) MOsteo, OA Member

Brad completed his Osteopathic studies at Victoria University, where he obtained his Bachelor and Masters degrees.

Brad has been practising for over 7 years as an Osteopath in the neighbouring suburbs of Melton and Bacchus Marsh, prior becoming the owner of ReForm Health in Hillside. In that time, Brad gained experience in treating conditions ranging from acute to chronic, sports injuries to office/tradie injuries, pregnancy related musculoskeletal pain to the aches & pains of the elderly, and more.

Brad likes to formulate a treatment plan that involves both his hands-on techniques and training along with guiding the patient to make the appropriate lifestyle changes, to reduce pain and improve function.

Since graduating from University, Brad has undergone additional training in managing tendon pain, ergonomic assessment, chronic pain management, shoulder biomechanics and strength & conditioning.

In his spare time, Brad enjoys chasing the footy around the oval for the Diggers Rest Football Netball Club, travelling and exploring the world, and spending time with his girlfriend and their two dogs. 

Melissa Mazzarino – BN/BM, MClinMid, Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation Practitioner, HypnoBirthing®, PhD Candidate

Melissa has been a registered midwife for more than 10 years and has enjoyed working in a variety of settings including public and private hospitals as well as community health centres.

Melissa was the recipient of the 2007 Australian Nursing Federation Irving Buzzard Midwifery Prize for theoretical and clinical excellence. Along with her clinical roles, Melissa is also a university lecturer and has embarked on a PhD investigating Pilates and pregnancy.

In 2016, Melissa was awarded with the first inaugural Pilates Alliance Australasia research grant. Melissa is a certified Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation Practitioner and is passionate about using movement to promote body awareness for confident labouring and birth and supporting women’s physical, emotional and social transition to motherhood.

Sandra Nguyen – BSci(Hons), MPhysio

Sandra has obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Melbourne University before obtaining a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland.

Sandra is passionate about injury rehabilitation and gets great satisfaction from guiding and seeing her clients recover from their injuries. Sandra’s specific area of interest lies in the treatment of sporting injuries, cervicogenic pain and chronic back pain.

Sandra is skilled in myofascial dry needling and is also trained in Clinical Pilates (Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation). She has a keen interest in utilising clinical pilates for injury management & prevention and conducts both one-to-one and group pilates sessions. 

In her spare time Sandra enjoys pilates, swimming, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
